ELEMENTARY CAMP
While Camp Summit-Questa
is all about fun, we believe learning can be fun as well, and it is something that should be continued through the summer
break. For this reason, during camp, Summit-Questa Montessori will be exploring countries from around the world. The students
will be given the opportunity to explore various cultures and traditions through lessons, art, and food.
When the campers
first arrive they will receive a mock passport with their picture inside. At the end of each week, after a country has been
discussed, the students will receive a stamp in their passport booklet. Not only that, but after Field Trip Fridays, they
will receive another stamp for participating in the weekly outing.
As, always, the
Elementary Camp group will go on a field trip every Friday. Some of our former trips have included: skating, bowling, water
parks, nature parks, zoos, museums, ice-skating arenas, arts and crafts centers, movies,
arcades, and more.
For additional
costs, other programs will be available such as: horseback riding, cooking, and language courses.
